You currently own a Kaveri APU A10-7850K with Corsair's vengeance pro memory at 2400mhz. However, XMP settings consistently fail and the system refuses to recognize 2400mhz, indicating an overclock failure. This issue also occurs on the MSI A88x G45 Gaming board. What could be the solution? I've tried overclocking the CPU and GPU, but memory still doesn't reach 2400mhz. I've also adjusted the voltage to 1.67v, but nothing works.

It might be faulty RAM or you received the incorrect type. Verify the label on the RAM to confirm it matches the 2400MHz rating.

I verified the serial number on corsair's website. It lists 2400mhz.

just because it doesn't run at the rated speed doesn't mean it's defective. try 2133mhz with the same timings and voltage as xmp. overclocking the cpu will help.

The system is operating smoothly at 2133mhz with stable performance. At 1.64v it’s functioning well, though the premium speed of 2400mhz isn’t being utilized. The XMP failure and system rejection at that frequency may be due to compatibility issues with the Kaveri APU. The BIOS reports 2133mhz for RAM, but the MSC command center shows 1333mhz, which could indicate a discrepancy or limitation.
