I was thinking about boosting my Corsair Vengeance LPX beyond its 2666mhz limit. I wondered if setting the voltage to 1.35 and gradually increasing the frequency would work. My goal is to reach around 3000mhz or even 3200mhz, especially when paired with a Ryzen 5 1600. Should I focus on raising the CPU speed or the RAM as well for optimal performance?

I also added this to the overclocking section.

Search for Google Taiphoon Burner, then download it. Next, obtain the DRAM Calculator for Ryzen and apply the data from Taiphoon Burner to complete the required details in the DRAM Calculator. This will provide settings you can test and use to optimize your RAM's performance.

You may need to slightly adjust your main clock speeds. However, 3000mhz works well with Corsair Vengeance 2666mhz units. With a boost from 1.2v to 1.35v, you'll have ample extra voltage available. Because you're using a Ryzen processor, it's also wise to raise your SOC voltage. Begin at 1.15v, then reduce it after stabilizing your RAM for better efficiency.
