My processor is a Ryzen 7 3700 and I'm using my B550 motherboard. When I enable the XMP profile, it boosts the clock speed to 3200 MHz each time I boot up, but the system restarts every time. I've increased my RAM from 2x8GB to 4x8GB.

Hey there! Check the BIOS settings if you haven’t updated yet for better memory performance. If that doesn’t help, consider purchasing a 2x16GB kit since using four DIMMs can strain the IMC more than two, particularly with early Ryzen models.

I attempted to adjust the timing settings in BIOS, but the after option blocks me from entering 38. According to Corsair, the recommended values are 16/20/20/38. Despite that, I’m still unable to find a suitable number due to default restrictions. Sorry, I have limited understanding here.

Four is quite typical. Verify the instructions for your modules and adjust the minimum settings in the BIOS. Don't forget to configure the correct voltage as well.

Using a few Corsair cables causes the QVL to limit you to just one pair. I've noticed this with their DDR2 models.
