Hello, I’m new to building PCs and I’m facing some problems with my Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM. I swapped in the old Trident Z G.Skill sticks and the system booted into a black screen. After trying different arrangements, resetting the CMOS battery, and reverting speeds back to defaults, the issue still persists. My more tech-savvy friend helped update the BIOS, but nothing changed. Now that I’ve reinstalled the G.Skill RAM, it boots normally again. If anyone has advice, please let me know—I’m really confused and unsure what to do next.

You verified if your RAM model matches the compatible specifications listed on the manufacturer's website for that specific motherboard.

Vengeance LPX sometimes faces problems with AMD processors. While I appreciate Corsair RAM, I’d likely consider exchanging it for a different option like G Skill instead.

Have you tested each stick individually? It seems like it might need to be sent back. What are the specifications for the RAM? Does it mention being optimized for Intel? I haven’t noticed many issues with DDR4 working across different processors, but I’ve seen newer reviews pointing out differences with DDR5. Based on what I’ve experienced, Ryzen struggles with RAM speeds above 3200 MHz on certain boards.

I had to work out this solution, but once I figured it out, it wasn't listed, so I think I'll bring back this RAM and look for a fresh one. Edit: forgot to mention that too! Thanks.
