I'm facing problems with the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16GB module operating at 3200Mhz. It's paired with a Ryzen 5 3600 on a Gigabyte B450M DS3H V1 board and an 1660Ti graphics card. The standard RAM speed is 2133Mhz and it works fine at those rates, but when I activate the XMP profile it jumps to 3200Mhz and suddenly shows a black screen. Previously, with Klevv Bolt 3000 using 3000Mhz XMP, the new Corsair model didn't reach its rated speed.

Do you remember if the only stick you have is this one? Were you trying to fit it in a specific slot? Have you checked for BIOS updates, possibly for XMP settings after the board came out? Is this model listed in the QVL for your motherboard?

I should have noted it in the post—I actually received two 16GB sticks for my system, and neither of the two RAM modules is functioning properly either individually or in dual-channel mode after applying the XMP profile. Interestingly, both are operating correctly in dual-channel at 2133MHz. I didn’t use my previous RAM with these two. Regarding the BIOS, it would be wise to look for any available updates... although I did update the BIOS during the purchase of the Mobo. These DDR4 sticks have remained unchanged for years, so I didn’t anticipate a compatibility problem. On the website of Gigabyte, I checked the list of supported memory sticks and saw various similar models from Corsair, but none matching my exact module. I think I’ll have to return them and pick a different set.
