I own a computer with a Gigabyte h610M motherboard and a Talius 700W power supply.
It functions properly but produces noise, so I opted to purchase and install a Corsair rm750E.
After fitting it into the case, I connected all necessary cables and activated the PSU "O L" button and the computer case power switch.
Nothing happened—no fan rotation, no beeps.
I returned the Corsair rm750E to the shop, which sent me a replacement.
That unit also failed.
I reinstalled the Talius 700W, which is now working correctly.
I performed a test using a multimeter (not a paper clip).
With the Corsair rm750E connected to a 220V outlet, the multimeter displayed 0V between GND and other pins.
This result matched what I observed with the Talius 700W—zero volts.
(I also tested it on an AA battery, which showed 1.5V.)
Could this indicate two faulty Corsair units or an issue with the MB and PSU compatibility?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Corsair rm750E
Did you recycling the cables from the older PSU over to the new PSU? If so, that's your main issue. You work with the cables that come with the PSU alone as all PSU's don't share the same pinout. have you also checked to see that all connections from the new PSU are secure to all your components and fully seated?
I have a computer with Gigabyte h610M motherboard and Talius 700W power source.
Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

According to the spec sheets, the Talius 700W model delivers 336W on the 12V rail, which qualifies it as a 336W power supply under "modern (10+ years)" specifications.

Yes, I installed the new CPU and MB cables, but retained the old SATA cable. After swapping it with a new one, the computer started up. Thank you very much!
