Corsair RAM stick with limited lighting
My MOBO detects the RAM correctly. There are no beeps. Games operate normally, though occasionally one of my Corsair RAM modules appears to malfunction. I need assistance with this issue. Thank you!
Consider slightly increasing the RAM voltage. I've heard that RGB lighting issues can stem from insufficient RAM voltage.
Only about 1.4 volts is being discussed here, which means a slight increase in minor RAM voltage. I suggest going up to 1.65 volts, but only for RAM dies that actually behave similarly to micron dies and use active cooling. Most RAMs tend to fail above 1.9 volts, though I know Samsung B die can reach up to 2.05 volts. For a precise recommendation, you should check the specific RAM die you have, as some perform poorly and don’t scale beyond 1.35 volts, while good options like Micron E-Dies and Samsung B Die scale significantly with voltage (around 1.65 volts for E-Dies, up to 2.05 volts for B Die). To identify your RAM die, use a burner and adjust the voltage from its default 1.35 volts to 1.4 volts; this should resolve the issue.
