No clear distinction, just one being fully modular while the other isn't.

The non-modular version offers superior quality.

You're asking if the 750W is necessary, since many single GPU setups require less than 550W.

Z390 is an Intel chipset, referring to the upcoming X570 Tomahawk. If you meant something else, you'll need to switch your motherboard, as it isn't compatible with your CPU. Consider alternatives like TX550M or RM550x; they won’t require nearly 750W, and if you invest in a high-quality PSU, a better unit than a basic non-modular 80+ Bronze model could be worth it. The CX is still capable of handling those parts.

Yeah, I was planning on getting an i7 9700k a while back, but after digging a bit more into AMD, they seem really great these days.

Yeah there's really no reason to go with Intel at the moment. In that case, I'd suggest going for something like an ASUS TUF X570-PLUS, Prime X570-P, or waiting for MSI's X570 Tomahawk which looks to become the best X570 board out there in the $200 price point. Also, unless you've just got a really good deal on it, I'd suggest going with a 3700X instead of the 3800X, as they should perform near identically.

Yea exactly! I bought my last gaming pc about 7 years ago and intel was the best and i tought it was the same nowadays but seems like the tables have turned Here in my country the difference between the 3800 and the 3700 is near 40 euros so I don't rly mind spending that extra money for it Btw do you know when will the MSI's X570 Tomahawk be release?? thanks!
