My File Explorer is experiencing issues, displaying odd black boxes and strange lines without impacting speed. The problem appears to be linked with custom icons you're using. It started recently and seems to disappear after a PC restart. It might be triggered by connecting your iPhone via USB. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated! <3

Consider removing those icons and linking your iPhone (once restarted) to observe the effect.

The custom icons were configured using a tool that alters icons saved in DLLs. If the application has an issue or fails to write icons properly according to Windows expectations in the DLL file, it may cause corruption.

The tailored symbols might have functioned adequately initially, yet updates to Windows could introduce complications.

Restarted the device, everything appears normal. The phone powers on without issues. It still happens unexpectedly.

These problems are known as memory corruptions. You need to initiate something or a sequence of actions to cause them. There can be one or several methods to trigger them.
