Hi. I'm trying to assist a friend with his setup. His system is running but doesn't produce any sounds, no beeps, and no display. The CPU is a Core i7-11700K at 3.6 GHz with an 8-core processor. The motherboard is an Asus PRIME Z590-P ATX. He has a power supply without an extra 4-pin 12V connector, which seems fine. He mentioned using an older monitor with an HDMI to DVI adapter that works on another machine, but it doesn't connect properly with this new build. Any suggestions or clues could help? I'm open to borrowing a monitor or a better HDMI cable if needed. Thanks!

Have you checked if every cable is securely connected?

There is a beeper on the mobile or case, preventing diagnostic beeps. Aggrrrr.

He connected the 24-pin power port and the 8-pin EPS power for the CPU, but the 4-pin connector isn't attached.

Did you manage to fix the issue? The 4-pin 12V connector was required. I’m experiencing the same problem, and my PSU only has an 8-pin connector, which suggests I might need a different one.

In the end, we could rely solely on the 8-pin connector instead of the 4-pin. The main issue we faced initially was a dead power supply. We evaluated the power supply using a paper clip technique, referencing this guide: https://graphicscardhub.com/power-supply-tester/ and the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU18uPlETCM. Once we obtained a new power supply, the system functioned properly. For those considering overclocking or using power-hungry parts, there could still be challenges. Otherwise, it should operate as intended.
