Hello all!
I currently run a core i5 6600K on an ASUS Z170 Pro (with the latest BIOS), and I've overclocked my CPU to 4.8GHz with a Vcore of 1.40V. Everything seems fine—Windows boots normally, and I can surf the internet or play games like Age of Empires II without issues.
My question is: Should I stick with 1.40V or go back to 1.35V? I've tried 1.35V too, and it works. During Prime95 testing, 3 workers fail when starting the blend test, but the first worker still runs. The main issue is that CPU temperatures reach 78ºC–80ºC. If I stress the CPU with CPU-Z, all four cores run at 4.8GHz but stay at a max of 62ºC.
During idle time, the temperature stays at 22ºC, which is good thanks to the 360mm radiator.
What do you think?

if you're engaging in games such as age of empires, do you truly need to overclock? It seems your system is behaving erratically if prime95 workers are leaving. I wouldn't exceed 1.40 (actually, I'd cap it at 1.35). Perhaps you should lower your multipliers until prime95 can operate smoothly.
