The Aida64 CPU Qween test indicates the 3700X reaches 100,000 points while the 1240P only hits 67,000, but the program displays a warning about virtualization interfering. That setting is enabled on both machines and works fine for VMs like VirtualBox. It’s possible virtualization reduces performance slightly.
