This variation seems unusual since 91°C could affect performance. The manufacturer claims a max of 105°C, but I wonder if lowering the voltage could help. How can I adjust it from BIOS instead of using Windows? CPU-Z shows higher scores for the 1240P than for the Ryzen 7 3700X in both single and multi-core tests. It’s surprising how much more power the 1240P delivers on one core compared to the 3700X, yet it uses less power overall (28W vs 85W). The Aida64 CPU Qween test indicates the 3700X reaches 100,000 points while the 1240P only hits 67,000, but the program displays a warning about virtualization interfering. That setting is enabled on both machines and works fine for VMs like VirtualBox. It’s possible virtualization reduces performance slightly. To compare accurately, you’d need to run similar tasks—such as rendering in Premiere Pro or unpacking archives—on both systems to see which performs better.

Turning off VBS might weaken Windows protection. It probably isn't a good idea.
