Hello there, I'm curious about the maximum overclocking potential for the E6600 core 2 duo processor on your Intel D945GCNL motherboard. With stock Intel fan and current temperatures between 30-35°C, I'm unsure if boosting performance is safe or if upgrading the cooler would be better first.

I would prefer a more suitable cooler, since the chipset/modem can only estimate, and a good P45 motherboard supports up to 3.6. What range of FSB options are available?

I switched the default CPU cooler from Intel stock to Arctic Freezer 7 v2 Pro, which lowered my CPU temperature from 45°C during idle to 25-30°C under load and kept it only heating up to 50-55°C when maximum power is applied. The rest of the system remains stock, including the motherboard Intel D945GCNL (LGA 775), and I upgraded the RAM from 2GB DDR2 to 4GB. I also purchased a GeForce GT 220 GPU. Given these changes, what optimization settings should I apply for this configuration?
