The file copier in Windows 10 is generally dependable. It checks the files before and after copying to ensure successful and error-free transfers. Thank you for asking—feel free to reach out if you need more details!

Are you asking about controlling C control versus V in a file? It seems quite solid. If not, then clearly no one would rely on Windows Explorer that way. (Don’t worry about me using Total Commander though!)

The Windows Explorer file copier might include checks to ensure data integrity, such as verifying files before and after copying and calculating checksums for comparison.

Only performs a simple check based on what I know. The checksum isn't very trustworthy. At least it's something, but not perfect. Consumer computer parts are mainly tested for reliability at 97-98% (they might be higher, but that’s certification, not actual performance). Server and workstation hardware gets certified with around 99.95-99.99% reliability (possibly even higher), which justifies the price. This extra reliability comes from more complex designs, better thermal testing under extreme heat for continuous use, maximum fan speeds, ECC memory in every component, and stricter quality checks on every part. These features add to the cost and are considered a premium feature for companies. Additionally, many technologies are only fully developed on the board once they reach maturity, which is common among most server and workstation manufacturers.
