Hello everyone,
I acquired a VAKIND Water Circulation Cooling Pump and am attempting to install it on a Thermaltake P3 case featuring the mounting plate shown in the image. The issue is that there’s no way to attach the pump to that plate. Is there an adapter that would work with this specific pump? Thank you in advance.

I've never heard of this pump, so that's a question that really can only be answered by the vendor that markets it. Not every pump uses a generic mount, so it would need to be specific to the requirements setup by where its manufactured. So, unfortunately unless you can find a mounting bracket option for it, you might only be able to fabricate something on your own (which isn't a bad thing - you can then define exactly what you want)

"Double sided tape" was included with it. It's quite lightweight, which is good. I plan to place an Aluminum 180mm Cylinder on top of it. Because the combined weight isn't very light, I might need to create an adapter.

It seems like a budget version of a DDC, but if it's lightweight, I should be cautious. This suggests minimal copper and magnets in the motor coils, which also implies it might not be very strong.

I'd also need to handle aluminum watercooling parts carefully since they can come into contact with nickel and copper in the coolant. You'll definitely need a high-quality, corrosion-resistant coolant to avoid galvanic corrosion (if any of those metals are present).

You're welcome. I understand the risks of galvanic corrosion and how lightweight the design is. The concern about mounting the dam piece is valid, and it's good you're thinking about pre-made solutions. Are there any ready-to-use brackets designed for this kind of pump?

Yeah. It looks like I need to create it myself. It's not an issue... just being lazy. Thanks a lot.

Sorry that I don't have a better answer than that. Pumps from other vendors like EK, Swiftech, XSPC, Alphacool, etc. often have mounting brackets for their products to accomplish things just as this. But, this is a low-cost generic pump vs. those made by dedicated liquid cooling shops, so it might just be something that falls between the cracks because they don't have the budget or resources to put into providing it.

Yeah, I understand. I didn't consider it at the time of buying.
