Just a note, though. Before version 1609 the License key was linked to the motherboard, and after 1607 it still works better for a straightforward reactivation of that key when replacing the board—provided the new board is similar. However, Microsoft will only reissue that key a limited number of times, like with certain models (e.g., Doa mobos). @GoodBytes, could you confirm your understanding before I proceed? Thanks. *edit I remember this from early previewer days, but recent work has made it tough to stay on top of it... /shrug.*
