Competitive benchmarking is now outdated. We don’t need to chase performance this way anymore. Why add overclocking capabilities to AMD boards when they don’t actually support it? They’re not worth the effort unless you’re into extreme cooling methods.

But these boot codes aren't only for overclocking... I agree with you. Still, I'd like to have a boot code display or IGPU support. I don't want to face unexpected boot issues again in the future. (My old motherboard had an 11th USB port for a phone app to show post codes. An app that hadn't been updated in three years... well, it just didn't work properly...)

I really don't feel the need to push you toward buying an AMD. That would be inappropriate on my part. Can you picture it? I purchase a 3700X today for $300 at Newegg, and it drops to $150 in a year—just like my 2700X did. Wanna experience that price drop? Yeah, go for it. Insane to think 16 threads at half that price and still call it HEDT, right?
