I replaced Pro with Windows 11 Home since I didn’t expect the full Pro capabilities. Still, Remote Desktop works for me. Let me know if you need help with anything else.

I haven't heard of anything beyond the Pro upgrade. You can try VNC or Parsec, but be careful with port forwarding to the internet.

It seems you're trying to access your desktop remotely without the full Windows version. You might want to use tools like TeamViewer, RealRNC, or AnyDesk. Google also provides a Chrome Remote Desktop option, though it's less common.

Pro comes bundled with Hoime and only requires a key lock. Get a Win 11 Pro license from various sellers or eBay for under $20. Save some money!

Besides what was mentioned, the server side of RDP remains secured only through Pro. For other destinations, you can still connect via Home. Upgrading to Pro is straightforward—just get a key and follow the activation steps in Settings > System > Activation. I tend to favor Parsec over this setup.

You're welcome! Yes, there are free alternatives available. Upgrading to 11 Pro is a good choice, and using Sandbox is also possible.

This item should be avoided at all costs. eBay usually has strict rules against such listings, and most posts are duplicates. Grey markets aren't inherently illegal and often work legitimately. 'Market platforms' like G2A, eBay, Kinguin, FacebookM, or similar P2P sites are common because you're purchasing something others want to get rid of—faster is better. With software keys being nearly identical to one another, be cautious. Consider your risks carefully. If the site appears normal, has been around over a month, accepts secure payments like GPay or AaPay, and supports PayPal without crypto complications, proceed with confidence. The purchase should be straightforward and legitimate.

Parsec offers free personal use and secure remote access through a web portal. VNC follows an open standard with numerous versions. I've relied on TightVNC for years; it's under the GPL and performs well locally, though you'll need a VPN to reach it from outside the building. mRemoteNG is a strong client, ideal for frequent multi-machine access. The free version of TeamViewer was excellent before its recent changes. Consider past suggestions carefully.

Are you willing to move forward with a free upgrade from W10 Pro?
