His Windows 10 is genuine, so he's asking how to upgrade to his legally purchased OS. I really don't see the problem.

That's what I was thinking. Probably, but I'm not sure I want to take the chance. I only have Windows for testing websites in Internet Explorer, dual boot, and I rarely use Windows. I don't want to jeopardize my projects or anything for 150$.
