Converting 24 frames per second to 60 frames per second
Converting 24 frames per second to 60 frames per second
That's a good point, but it shouldn't make the video play too quickly.
There are two methods to adjust frame rate on videos: either skip or replay frames or alter the playback speed. Creating a genuine 60fps video from 24fps footage isn't possible unless you're aiming for a speed-up timelapse. Switching between 24 and 25fps can also cause issues.
Open Premiere and set the render settings to 60fps without speed acceleration. This will display a few frames repeatedly per second, avoiding fast playback. Interpolation isn't needed unless you want smoother transitions.
I aim for a realistic 60 FPS feel, so the material doesn’t appear to be accelerated.
Are you doing this to view videos or? If you're just watching locally, I suggest using SVP: https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Main_Page. It's free, but you'll need a decent PC to run it smoothly—it can be demanding on resources. For videos that run at 60fps permanently, check out this guide: http://www.spirton.com/convert-videos-to-60fps/
