Convert the F10 key into a custom shortcut.
The F10 key has become a hot key by itself, making it difficult to use normally in games or apps. It doesn’t register as your usual F10 press, so keybindings aren’t working. A keyboard tester confirmed all F keys function correctly but didn’t detect F10 as a hot key. Spy++ logged several hot keys, including F10, but no output appears when you actually press it. Pressing other hot keys (Alt+Tab, Win+Q, etc.) shows up in the log. Interestingly, holding WIN + F10 still opens the browser as expected. The issue seems unrelated to physical keys or external devices—no FN lock or ESC was involved. I’ve tested multiple keyboards and drivers, yet the problem persists. The weird part is that combining WIN + F10 works normally and registers your input. If anyone has suggestions or solutions, please share. I’m hoping for a permanent fix rather than temporary workarounds. This is frustrating, and I didn’t want to risk a full system reinstall just to get it right. Thank you.
