Convert the 1440p AVI file to a different format
You can upload it as is since it’s already in AVI format at 1440p and 60fps. No conversion needed unless you want a different codec or resolution.
You should avoid saving it as .avi unless it’s lossless since the format is quite old and lacks modern support. If it isn’t lossless, you’ll face significant issues during conversion. In any case, convert it to mp4 with H.264 video and all audio.
Various formats are available for use in Frappe and similar recording tools.
That’s probably not compressed at all, so there’s something you can work on.
Sure! To use different codecs in Frapst for recording gameplay, first open your project and go to the settings. Select the audio or video option, then choose the desired codec from the list. Adjust settings like bitrate and sample rate if needed. Save your changes and start recording with the selected codec.
I haven't tried this much lately, but I think there are helpful resources out there.
