I attempted to convert ISO to DVD, but the process failed. I own a functional re-writable DVD drive and a blank DVD.

Do you send the optical drive to the VM as a device or as a volume? Wouldn't it be better to use a native Linux utility such as Brasero on your host system instead?

Check the diagnostic output from imgBurn. Observe any warnings or errors displayed. It’s possible the installer automatically enabled a feature like Google Toolbar.

The "Blank disc" symbol indicates the system isn't using the actual storage device. Have you instructed VB to connect the physical drive within the virtual environment settings?

I continue interacting with devices, optical drives, and host drives PLDS DVD+-RW DH-16AES (sr0), yet I repeatedly click on unticked host drives PLDS DVD+-RW DH-16AES (sr0). I keep toggling between devices and optical drives, but the system remains unresponsive to my actions.

This platform mentions DVD/Blu-ray playback but suggests you might need to burn an image file. If tools like ImageBurn or Nero aren't sufficient, sharing the file with the host at https://websiteforstudents.com/how-to-pl...windows-11 could be necessary.

Previously, when I used Windows 10 inside VirtualBox, something unexpected happened.

Adjust VM configuration by setting passthrough option in settings and ensuring Brasero is installed for virtual box guest additions.
