I used a tool to turn the USB pendrive into a DVD disc. Now I want to copy the files from the pendrive to a DVD. Should I simply make a regular copy, or is there another method needed?
DVDs take longer to access data than USBs because of their storage speed and technology.
You put an iso file on a DVD. but why would you want this? you can copy the contents of the usb and just put it on your pc. if you want a boot usb again, format it to fat 32 and only paste the content back onto the usb
Creating a disk isn't necessary. You can quickly build a USB installer whenever you need it.
I’ve made a special installer that includes the required drivers. Right now I don’t have the original installation disc, so I can’t set up another one. I prefer keeping my pendrive for backup instead of relying on an installer permanently.
Ensure you create a bootable DVD using the Windows media creation tool. You cannot simply transfer USB files onto the DVD and start from it.
You cannot transfer the installer from the USB to a DVD since DVDs require an ISO file with a different installation method
