Sorry but I don't rate ASUS boards for this reason. A few others too. Just make sure if you're using XMP, go to advanced settings and set VCCI and system agent to 1.2v. Yes, confirm the CPU is recognized as faulty—since you didn't overclock it, you're entitled to a replacement. Don't mention enabling XMP to them.
