A few days back I realized my controller wasn’t functioning properly. It powered on and tried to connect to the PC’s wireless adapter, but it wasn’t recognized by the online gamepad tester or Steam games. Eventually, I discovered it works with the Xbox Accessories app and the Steam main menu. I’ve tried several fixes: updating Windows (I use Windows 10), checking direct connection via cable, and testing with another controller (Series X and Xbox One). Nothing changed. Please let me know if you can assist.

Check compatibility with your Xbox model. If it runs smoothly there, ensure you pair it again a few times for best results.

I don't own a physical Xbox One or Series X; my setup is based on PC.
