Controller AHCI unavailable detected.
Hello. I constructed a NAS for the first time using a Jonsbo N1 case. My motherboard only features four SATA ports, so I opted for a PCIe to SATA expansion card. When I install the card, the system boots normally, but connecting drives triggers an "AHCI controller unavailable" error and causes a reboot. I attempted to reinstall TrueNAS, but the installation fails to boot and displays the same error. In BIOS, PCIe drives aren't listed, only the directly connected ones appear. I'm seeking advice and appreciate your help. Specifications include: ASRock B550M-ITX/AC motherboard, AMD Ryzen 5 5600G processor, Corsair DDR4 32GB at 3600MHz RAM, ToughPower 450W PSU, Sh. Dysk 240GB SSD (boot drive), WD PC SN530 NVMe SSD 256GB, five WD Red Plus 4TB drives, and a PCIe to SATA adapter. I'm unsure what the adapter name is on the box, it says "PCI&PCI-Express Card." The BIOS lists B550M-ITX/AC P2.20 with TrueNAS Scale IMG_0762.HEIC.
No, we don't need to guess the components. We can identify them directly.
