We own four Roku gadgets along with one stick and three televisions. It soon became clear that all Roku devices need to share the same Roku account for their channels to sync properly. This usually works well, but parental controls on Roku are very weak. There are no limits on internet access or the channel store, and there’s no option to restrict certain content with a code. Even setting up a separate Roku account doesn’t solve the issue. I’m curious about how other TVOS handle these restrictions.

Haha, you locked your parents into the Mac just like I did with my TV and laptop—so they couldn’t access it until I was ready. Got that vibe!

The child isn't really into tech. He doesn't grasp even the simple features of a LEGO game. A basic password would completely block him. I'm only searching for a TV system that provides that fundamental level of protection.
