Control ray tracing Low FPS low Usage.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080
GPU Utilization: 19% - 23%
CPU Usage: 18% - 20%
Frame Rate: 40fps (consistent)
Ray Tracing Enabled: Yes
Resolution: 1080p
The issue I'm encountering is that despite my high-end RTX 2080 and i9-9900K CPU, ray tracing significantly reduces frame rates to a barely playable 40fps. The GPU utilization is low (around 20%), while the CPU remains relatively idle (18%-20%). This suggests that ray tracing isn't effectively utilizing the GPU’s power, which doesn’t align with expectations for a demanding feature like this. I have optimized my settings to the maximum, and even at lower settings, the performance is still poor. My system specs are as follows: Windows 10 Home 64-bit, Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC MS-7B17, Intel Core i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz, 32GB RAM, and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080. I’m playing at 1080p resolution.

I have the latest drivers, ill try the experience thing but in the past this made games worse
UPDATE: I tried letting geforce experience configure but all it basically did was turn off msaa and turn on dlss which makes my game render at 720 making it look like crap
I figured it out.... task manager just wasnt recording the right levels of usage, i opened msi afterburner monitor and it was using 98%...
