Hello! I recently purchased an MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK and noticed the VGA LED stays illuminated even when everything seems normal. I’m curious—does this light turn on during problems, or is it always on? Thanks for your help!

I'm assuming you're running a Ryzen processor and checking if it has a built-in GPU.

I tried something with my GPU power and accidentally discovered it. First, check that your GPU is securely installed. Ideally, swap them out. Also, verify the power connection for your GPU is correct. In my experiment, I was testing PCIe power when I saw the LED light up. It turned out that using just one 8-pin PCIe power isn’t supplying enough energy to the GPU, which is why the light came on.
