Hello everyone,
The situation described appears regularly, occurring in every game. It happens in FIFA (where the player moves without touching the controller or keyboard), Warzone, and Battlefield 2042. The game begins with continuous firing until I restart the PC.

I’ve tried several solutions:
- Cleaning the keyboard by removing keys and avoiding liquids
- Restarting the game multiple times, but the problem persists; I had to restart the whole PC for it to work
- Opening Task Manager and checking if more than one keyboard is detected, then uninstalling one of them. Still no improvement

It’s quite frustrating, and I’m unsure whether the issue lies with the keyboard, mouse, or something else.
Spec: Windows 11 (win 10 also works)
Processor: Ryzen 5600x
Gaming laptop: Asus ROG B550 e gaming wifi
RAM: 16GB Corsair
Keyboard: Razer Black Widow Elite
Mouse: A cheap one, no make

Other actions you can take:
Use the built-in Windows troubleshooters to locate and resolve issues.
Manually install the keyboard and mouse drivers, then reinstall and adjust settings.
If feasible, replace the existing keyboard and mouse with another functional one (only one at a time).
Test the current keyboard and mouse on a different working computer.
Identify whether the issue is related to the keyboard or mouse or remains with the host system.

There might have been a really poor macro configuration that occurred. I once had to turn off my LMB entirely, which was quite an interesting challenge. You might want to try resetting your mouse or keyboard settings.
