Hey everyone, the game often slows down on YouTube and Twitch, making streaming tough. My setup looks fine, but I notice GPU usage stays high even when I switch tabs. When I close the game and reopen it, lag appears. My specs are 12700K, 3090 Ti, 32GB RAM. Got any suggestions?

Have you explored using the hardware encoder chip on your GPU? In OBS or any streaming software, it should appear under options with a label like "encoder." Change it to the NVIDA GPU setting and look for something such as "XXX (HVENC)" or a hardware identifier. Try this adjustment and observe if the lag disappears.

Yes. It's not only about streaming. Viewing a basic YouTube clip or Twitch broadcast while playing causes delays.

Ensure proper setup before gaming. If your PC lags, check Task Manager, focus on performance metrics to identify the root cause.

You can switch to the always-on-top position by going into Task Manager and choosing that setting.

The problem occurs when the GPU reaches full usage. To avoid it, optimize resource allocation or reduce workload demands.

I handled it too. Is there a way to allocate around 10% of your GPU for other activities while reserving 90% specifically for games?

Maybe a straightforward solution is reinstalling the drivers after using DDU to eliminate them.

It seems you're suggesting that task priorities can be adjusted, but usage reservation isn't possible. Windows doesn't operate in that manner.
