Hi, I grew up using the PS2 as my main gaming system. I’ve noticed how each new generation has pushed graphics forward and made gameplay smoother to attract more players. For example, Fallout series evolved from Fallout 1-3 to Fallout 4, Far Cry 1-2 became Far Cry 4, 5, GTA 3, and San Andreas. I’m searching for modern titles that prioritize immersive gameplay over streamlined experiences. I want 3D visuals with outstanding mechanics. If weapons are available, expect a wide variety rather than just a few options or paid in-game purchases. I don’t like games that repeat the same actions repeatedly, such as FC4, nor do I appreciate when the game dictates every move instead of letting me explore freely. What games fit this vision? I enjoyed Resident Evil 4 and The Evil Within, but I found The Evil Within 2 too intense.
