I haven't played a COD title since Black Ops 1 about ten years ago. Lately I switch back and forth between CSGO and Siege. It seems the time to kill has really lessened, which is exciting if true—I'm very interested. Especially in team-based or single-player modes like cyber attack and search and destroy. Anyone have experience with these types of modes?
I tried the Beta and it performed well. TTK feels similar to CoD overall, with only better gunplay and sound design, giving it a stronger presence and more impact. Search and Destroy remains unchanged, so it should appeal to fans if they enjoy that style. I purchased the game this morning but haven’t played it yet. Just a heads-up, it’s quite large at around 115GB.
I purchased the game and spent a short time playing (limited time). The last Call of Duty I experienced was Modern Warfare 3, making this a necessity for me and the first one I bought right after its release. I haven’t tried any of the newer titles, but compared to MW3, this new one features a fully redesigned gun system. The recoil and reloading feel more authentic, evoking memories of Squad, a highly realistic military simulator. There are 2v2 and 4v4 modes; the 2v2 version is excellent. For the campaign mode, I haven’t played it yet, though reviews suggest it’s solid. My advice: get it if you enjoy the older Call of Dutys.
Purchase it now. If you’re okay with the cost of a brand-new title, go ahead. I was concerned I might not enjoy it since I’m used to different shooting mechanics, but Blizzard offers a return policy letting you get a full refund within 24 hours after first opening or up to 7 days if you never open it.
Activision announced a release of 175 gigabytes including all post-launch material; the base game will have significantly fewer features.
It seems like you're wondering about the size of your storage setup. You mentioned needing to relocate some files to make room for an installation, which suggests your drive capacity might be limited.
