Very nice machine with quality components. Your Windows license seems costly for an OEM license. That appears more like a retail price.
If you plan to take advantage of AM5's multiple generations of upgrades then the 7600/X would be suitable. If you plan to build this machine and not touch it for several years, then I would stick with the 7700.
I’ll have to keep that in mind while I’m searching then. Just good to know there are a few options to consider. As for the Windows, I haven’t the slightest clue. Just kinda picked the first one that came up since they were mostly the same listed prices.
I just checked the prices in the UK. It's £120 for the OEM and £120 for the retail version from Microsoft. Do not purchase an OEM license unless it's very inexpensive, it will be tied to the first hardware you install it on. You should buy the proper retail version through Microsoft instead.
Don't buy a windows key for 120$....
You can acquire them from key sites for about 20 bucks. I use key sites almost every other day at my business when activating windows for new builds.
Also don't choose AMD, their FSR technology is terrible. Get a 4070 for near the same price and you get significantly better fps
4070 for 599.
Thank you for that information.
Now I know not to purchase a system from your establishment if I were having one built.
