I really don’t mind anything being off my PC, I just need that constant beeping to stop. I have to hear it nonstop while the computer runs and it’s getting me worked up. There’s no BIOS setting to turn it off, so what other options do I have to silence it or remove the speaker? Motherboard model: B450M DS3H GIGABYTE 0262C7A9-8F6D-400F-9F4E-0904B95DB6A9. CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 GPU: GTX1660S RAM: 4X4GB OLD DDR4 RAM PSU: 650W Thermaltake.

I believe the computer is functioning properly. It seems you might have connected your speaker to the incorrect location.

The BIOS doesn't offer a setting for the speaker unless it's an unusual configuration. As mentioned by another user, ensure your speaker is connected to the correct header first. If the issue persists, unplugging the speaker might resolve the problem—this isn't essential for normal operation except for checking error codes. If the speaker still works with the correct connection, the issue could relate to your power supply unit, which may be signaling abnormal voltage levels. Consider using a hardware monitor app to verify if anything is out of range. Good luck!

It might be integrated into the motherboard itself, designed to work without an external speaker connection.

3 suggests sharing a photo of the blue section to confirm what device is connected. We need to verify if more than one cable is plugged in. Number 2 asks about an HDD installation. Number 3 inquires if there are any cables near the fan or touching it slightly. Softly halt the fan using your finger in the middle. Possibly another sound comes from the PSU—do not open it, just listen with your ear.
