I’m looking to switch to Edge because it feels quicker and uses less memory compared to Chrome. I’m frustrated with Chrome consuming a lot of RAM and how Google seems to be making the browser worse over time. The main reason I didn’t use Edge before was the limited extension support, though now I’ve managed to remove most ads even without the AdBlock extension.

The performance is impressive—sites load fast except for YouTube, which runs at 240p and lags with low frame rates. I’m wondering if there’s a reason Google intentionally slows things down when I use Edge. It doesn’t seem like Edge’s fault unless everyone else is having the same issue. Even Vessel works normally. My internet speed is stable, and I’m using Ethernet.

In any case, I was planning to share a SpeedTest result but got an Error 503. Should I stick with Chrome, try Firefox, or something else? Also, why did my text start typing backward when I used the italics option? It took about ten minutes to type “else.”

Edge isn't quicker; I switched to Google's site, which halted working. Torch works as a substitute for Chrome.

The issue lies in Win10's network setup. You have several options, but it appears the system repeatedly switches between them. The reason for this behavior isn’t clear to me.

Torch is widely recognized, though many aren't aware of it. Firefox also includes adblock features.

It doesn’t take up much memory and offers many add-ons like Adblock. You can adjust its appearance to resemble Chrome as well. It’s a solid browser and I like it. I used it for about an hour, though it was a bit tricky at first.

I'll just test Firefox and see how it feels. I used to have it but don't remember why I changed. It seems more like Tor to me, even though I know otherwise. As I said, I'm just going to try it now.

Check if NPAPI remains active in Firefox for your Battlelog plugin. You previously enabled it manually in Chrome. Regarding transferring cookies and passwords, let me know what you need help with!
