After experiencing frequent micro stutters on my PC for nearly a year and a half, I upgraded to a new system (https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/JXMrpH). The latest setup mirrors the previous one closely—same lag spikes and micro stutter issues. It seems none of these components have ever been swapped between systems; both the motherboard and CPU match the relevant specifications. All drivers are up to date. Micro stuttering appears in every game, including those I played before, especially during browsing or file explorer tasks. The attached GPU-Z sensor graphs show consistent small drops in GPU usage whenever my frame rate falls. I've tried various fixes: disabling XMP, changing monitors, switching mouse/keyboard, running DDU, using SFC scan and restorehealth, playing offline, adjusting 3D settings in NVIDIA Control Panel, using a UPS (Eaton 5p-1550i), updating BIOS to version 2803, removing unnecessary software, toggling FTPM, and more. I’m considering a full Windows reinstall and driver reset, then installing Steam and a game to check if the issues persist. I’m also thinking about replacing the motherboard with an ASUS ROG Strix B550-A. Please let me know if those GPU clock, power usage, and temperature readings are related or pose any risks.
