I changed from a PC running R7 265, an i5 4570 with Windows 8 to a Ryzen 7 1700X, GTX 1080 and Windows 10. I connected the Ethernet cable from my old PC to the new one. Now I experience network lag spikes around 9000ms every 20 minutes. I updated the drivers and even swapped in a new SSD and hard drive on the old PC, but the issue persists. It seems the problem isn’t hardware-related. After resetting Windows and removing programs except Rainbow Six Siege, it still happens. I suspect a driver or Windows issue. What should I do? (sorry for the unclear English, I’m from Germany)
