Greetings,

I’m experiencing a peculiar issue: I consistently receive the same frame rate in every game, irrespective of my display resolution or graphics preferences. While I can achieve 150 frames per second on maximum settings at my monitor’s native resolution, that same frame rate appears only when using very low graphics and a suboptimal display. I’ve utilized Afterburner to monitor my system's performance, noting that both the CPU and GPU typically operate at 40% usage, occasionally peaking at 70-80%. My graphics drivers are up to date, including game-ready versions. Furthermore, the game itself doesn't feature an in-built frame rate limiter unless manually enabled, which I haven’t done. My system specifications are an i7-7700k processor paired with a GTX1070 overclocked on a Z270E motherboard. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Should I update my system? Is a new operating system installation necessary? What is the wattage and manufacturer of your power supply unit? What are the temperatures of your central processing unit and graphics card?

Hello. I’m experiencing a puzzling situation – despite consistently achieving frame rates exceeding 200 in most games, I’m not receiving adequate performance. My power supply unit is relatively inexpensive, and my case's label indicates it’s a “Green 700W GP700A-HP.” The GPU and CPU temperatures are averaging approximately 70 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, I recently installed a new version of Windows 10 and it’s fully updated.
