I believe I'm moving away from CS, aiming for something a bit more relaxed. Thanks for the tip! I hadn't come across insurgency before—I just checked it out and am feeling uncertain about whether it's worth it compared to real battles.

I enjoy Hardline as well. The Witcher 3 stands on its own, yet the core narrative can be understood without playing the first two titles. I just reviewed some helpful YouTube summaries beforehand.

That's straightforward. For vehicle battles head to the battlefield. If you prefer infantry fights with complex strategies and intense gameplay, choose insurgency. I've played battlefield extensively and have integrated vehicles into my gameplay, which I find quite rewarding. Those who enjoy Arma titles will appreciate it too. The enhanced damage system (quick kills from most rifles) and focus on tactical missions provide a sophisticated FPS experience. Plus, it's affordable, so you're unlikely to make mistakes.
