I've noticed that this year few quality FPS titles launched, but I did enjoy BO3 during its beta and free MP weekend. The only drawback was the maps—some were really poor. While listening to the Co Optional podcast, I realized Black Ops 3 could be a top pick for this year. Other games either let me down or weren't great overall. Rainbow Six Siege is another strong option, though I usually play solo with random titles and wouldn’t want that on RSS. I’ve been craving a more relaxed MP experience, and the last time I played COD was MW2 on PS3. Do you think BO3 is worth trying on PC? The optimization met my expectations, and Treyarch has a dedicated PC team, which gives me confidence compared to Infinity Ward or Sledgehammer for the PC version.

Start by checking Steam or whatever platform you prefer to find out how many players are using it. Often PC games can be tough to locate since interest is low. I tried the Bo3 beta but didn’t purchase it and ended up going back to BO2.

This veteran of CS invites suggests giving CSGO a shot. It comes with a steep learning curve and feels quite different from other cod series. I used to enjoy coding but discovered console games more enjoyable due to the presence of hackers. Consoles seem less affected by them.

Also suggest CSGO. Significantly lower cost, unique gameplay, and much better in my opinion. If you own any cod franchise titles, you’ve got most of them covered ;P

Sure, if you enjoy COD, grab it—it's always been an enjoyable experience to play.

I'm exhausted from CS. Spent 2k hours on GO and also played 1.6 and Source a bit. Got to Global (though it feels like a small win since I reached it after the first big VAC wave), but CS is the last game I really want to play now.

I understand your perspective, I've experienced it too. The game Rainbow Six Siege really draws people in.

I tried the beta both closed and open, but I didn't really like playing with random elements. Still, if the strategies are solid and the plans hold up, it can be quite enjoyable! It's definitely tempting! I'm not sure yet if I'll end up playing Siege or BO3.

No, it's not worth it. Wait for the big fix before you proceed.
