I need a new laptop replacement for my older Dell Latitude E6410. It should support CAD work and medium gaming, cost between $900 and $1000.
My current 2011 model has 4GB DDR3 RAM at 1066MHZ and a 250GB SSD with a 2.80GHz Intel Core i7 processor.
I’m considering upgrading soon and would prefer the Ryzen 5 processor with 3200MHz RAM.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Your budget falls short when viewed from your location, with currency conversion affecting the amount. In this case, it's recommended to use INR instead of USD. The first three options listed are just suggestions and not the most current choices. I'm assuming you have 72,000INR available. That's why I excluded the third option from the list. Regarding MSI, they don't offer any better value if you see the Omen as a sub brand, which it isn't. They are a line introduced after Dell's Alienware.

My understanding of medium games will differ depending on the title and the developer, which is why we request people to specify the games they wish to play on a "gaming" laptop and/or the applications they want to run on it.

For laptop recommendations, we require more details similar to what was mentioned earlier, such as the examples in this thread. Please adhere to the formatting and let the community contribute suggestions.

I currently use a 2011 Dell Latitude E6410 and it’s quite annoying to operate. I’m searching for alternatives and here are all the details you might find useful when suggesting options.
My budget is roughly between $900 and $1000.
I’m looking for a 15.6-inch laptop.
The screen resolution should be 1920x1080 FHD, preferably with a refresh rate of 120-144Hz.
Do I need a portable or a desktop model?
I require a portable gaming laptop.
How much battery life is important to me?
I aim for about 4 to 5 hours, or more.
Would you like to play games on this device? If yes, please list the titles and the settings you prefer (Low, Medium, High).
For example: Forza Horizon 4 (Medium to High), Poly Bridge 2 (High), Osu! (Medium to High), etc.
I also plan to use it for video and photo editing, as well as CAD design.
What storage capacity do you need?
I’d like a 1TB HDD plus a boot SSD of any size.
If you have specific retailers in mind, please share their links.

www.amazon.in
How long do you intend to use the laptop?
I plan to keep it as long as it remains functional.
Which type of optical drive would you prefer? (DVD ROM/Writer, Blu-ray ROM/Writer, etc.) – No optical drives are acceptable!
Could you also mention any brands you dislike and why?
I don’t like HP or their Omen sub-brand; I feel their build quality is not up to my expectations compared to ROG, Asus, and MSI.
Where are you located?
India
Any further details you’d like to share?
I’m interested in future upgrades and would appreciate options with AMD processors, as they’re generally more affordable than Intel models.
