Regarding activity, most members work full-time and are spread worldwide, making it tough to gather everyone at once. We chose Saturday at 9pm GMT as the optimal time, but there’s always someone online ready to jump in—even if just for some trolling (see: YouTube link). Overall, we’re a diverse group that still manages to have fun together, so you might find your spot here.
In comparison to our real organization size of nearly 3000, our Discord community is quite small with only about 183 registered members, just 111 of whom are active. Looking at the online presence I notice around 75 people currently logged in. There was a slight increase in activity and new sign-ups after the recent 2.6.1 update, which added Spectrum support. Although this version is essentially a cheaper alternative to Discord without voice channels, we continue to rely on Discord and even suggest others switch from Spectrum temporarily. You’ll often find someone to play with, and it doesn’t have to be Star Citizen. On the list of players I see Space Engineers, Overwatch, NFS 16, World of Tanks, World of Warships, Conan Exiles, Factario, LoL, CS:GO, ARK, Rainbow Six, E

It's interesting to note that the post about weekly gatherings is quite a while back. Are these events still happening on Saturdays for you?
Well, we only had one event yesterday and I believe in 2016 we achieved 49 participants. December was a bit slow, then Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve fell on Saturdays so we missed those days. The gatherings aren't as large as they used to be when 2.0 launched, but we still manage at least four people together. Occasionally we join forces with other organizations. On February 4th we conducted a tactics training session, even starting late in the evening.
