So I thought I had managed to get a 5800x from scan.co.uk today but looks like it went from in stock to preorder while I was in checkout and didn't realise. Now there's no eta and waiting for them to get back to me. Now my local computer store has a 5600x. Hmm wussy to do
If they withdrew the money from your account, you should expect shipping information soon. When placing an order, they will hold the funds (it stays in your account but can’t be used until ready to ship). I'm planning to call them tomorrow. If it's a few days, I'll hold off; otherwise, I'll go for the 5600x.
It seems the scan status is unclear right now. I just received an automated email confirming the order, but the case number 5800x isn’t showing up online. I’ll have to wait until tomorrow for an update.
The 5800X is expected around November 30th. I'm planning to collect the 5600X after work today from my nearby location. Unsure if I should cancel the 5800X or not.
