I own a ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI) with the newest patch, I visited the ROG site to check for driver info until I noticed a beta bios release. I won’t install that on my motherboard; I prefer to wait for the official update. Remembering my previous motherboard upgrade was stressful—I had a tough time reinstalling Windows and spent four days downloading everything again. In short, do I need to proceed with this update?
Unless you notice something in the patch notes you’re aware of, don’t upgrade your motherboard’s BIOS. Just because an update lists bug fixes doesn’t mean you should. Many of those are addressing rare edge cases for unusual configurations. If your system is working properly now, it means no issues require a patch.
