I have roughly $60 to spend and am weighing my choices. Options include: New ArcheAge Subscription – I enjoyed the game but stopped due to cheating issues and lost contacts, making it less fun. New FFXIV Subscription – Offers a stronger story and better art compared to ArcheAge, though it doesn’t match its openness. Would need teammates to play. Doom 4 – Excited about the game but my hardware isn’t up to the upgrade timeline. Current hardware: GTX 770 2GBs with i7-5820K. Overwatch – Played the open beta on PS4 and loved it, but would prefer a mouse and keyboard. Fallout 4 – Long wanted to try but never got a chance. No Man's Sky – Very excited for its release, though I haven’t pre-ordered yet. I favor distinct genres: prefer FPS over RPGs, enjoy sci-fi RPGs or MMOs, appreciate RTS titles like Ashes of the Singularity, and like mecha games more than strategy games. I like indie games such as Superhot and That Dragon, Cancer. Also, I enjoy Total War Shogun 2 occasionally. I find long games like Total War challenging and value quick sessions. I prefer sci-fi aesthetics in mecha games over generic ones. If a good mecha game exists, I’d love to try it.
