Hey there, I was really excited when Bethesda announced Fallout 4. I jumped on the excitement right away, hoping to snag it before it dropped. As the release date approached, I figured buying it would be a smart move—though I wasn’t ordering it, just avoiding the toxic system. When it finally came out, I still hesitated. Why? Because Bethesda has a history of bugs, and I’ve seen games like FNV and FO3 struggle. I kept waiting months, wondering if the GOTY edition would fix everything. How many bugs were actually patched at launch? Is it stable now, or is it still holding on by a thread? Thanks for your thoughts!

I'm hoping it reaches around $10 during a Steam discount, which is my general view on games unless I'm really into titles like GTA or Tomb Raider. It probably comes down to whether Fallout fits your taste.

It seems the project has more issues than typical pranksters on YouTube can handle quickly. This makes me hesitant to purchase it, and I wonder if I'll wait until it's around three years old before considering buying.

Don’t understand the game you heard about—I finished 40 hours before my first bug appeared. My gun vanished, I reloaded my quick save and everything was fine again. Just note I saved it at midnight the day it was spotted on Steam. Grab it if you enjoyed FO3 or NV, you won’t be let down.

Already have FNV and FO3. Completed FNV twice but stuck in that section of FO3. Moving on to FO4. However, fixing it now would mean handling many bugs similar to FO3.

The Witcher 3 earned Game Of The Year in 2015, though it's unclear if Bethesda officially recognized it. For a title that feels like a GOTY hit with all DLC, I think it's unlikely to be released soon—unless Fallout 4 finally gets its last major update. I suggest grabbing the game now and taking pleasure, and consider purchasing a season pass if you're aiming for that special experience.

Why wait so long for a fix? Most issues are already resolved, and while DLC can have problems, the main game is progressing. Waiting three years for updates seems excessive—glitches are likely to be addressed as Fallout 4 matures.

I believe the game has fewer bugs compared to Fallout 3. Fallout 3 is no longer Bethesda's primary title, so it hasn't received many updates. Plus, advancements in technology meant better games were being developed, which might explain why not every issue was fixed. This doesn't mean the game isn't good, but it does feel a bit let down since Fallout 3 was an important entry for many fans.

I spent a lot of time working on Fallout 4 and haven’t faced any bugs or problems. I’ve really enjoyed every moment so far, and I haven’t had any issues with other Fallout games either—maybe luck is on my side!
