The title clearly indicates your preference. You're considering whether to switch to Windows 8.1 or continue with Windows 7.

Remain with seven drivers and it’ll be tough unless you’re okay with that. Stick it!

8 and 8.1 are probably the second least popular OS versions from Microsoft after Vista.

I believe Windows 8 is the worst among Windows 7, 8, and 10, so it's best to stay with version 7. Don't expect significant advantages if you don't enjoy Windows 10.

Upgrade to version 8.1 or accept the change; 10 is a big leap forward. Windows 10 remains fresh with ongoing updates, while 8.1 offers the longest lifespan among recent releases, aside from 10. Even if you prefer something newer, 8.1 still holds value.

Many users prefer using Win8.1 with Classic Shell, and they appear to enjoy it.

Windows 10 keeps evolving, and you might find yourself drawn to it, though avoid using version 8—it's as frustrating as an uncooperative teen. Note: 8.1 offers minimal improvement over 8 and remains problematic.

Vista was an excellent operating system. Its main issue was launching when many PC users didn’t have powerful machines to run it on. I faced no difficulties with Vista on a P4 3Ghz processor, 4 GB of RAM, and a GTX 260. Windows 7 is basically a rebranded Vista: http://www.pcworld.com/article/153624/wi...under.html
